Gotta #ReadThemAllThon TBR

ReadThemAllThon

I love the idea of this Read-A-Thon and I mean it’s Pokemon themed so I have to do it. This was created by Aentee from Read At Midnight as well as all the graphics in this post except I changed the background color to match my theme. She creates amazing content so you should definitely check her out. It runs from August 14th to September 4th. To check out her explanation and sign up, click here. I’m not very good at Photoshop but here’s the Trainer Card I tried to make.

Venonat has been my favorite Pokemon ever since I was little, it’s just really cute and was the first one I ever nicknamed in the game. Bet you can’t guess what I named it… Nick. Get it? From nickname lololol. I am sacrificing points for my little Nick but it’s worth it to have him in this Read-A-Thon with me  ❤ ❤

After a long deliberation, I have chosen The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater for the first challenge. I have meant to read this book for years now and what a better time than during the Read-A-Thon?!

409 pages – potentially +40CP

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare is the last book in The Infernal Devices trilogy that I need need need to finish! I loved the first two books and I’ve heard that this is a REAL tear jerker.

567 pages – potentially +56CP

I read Red Queen a couple days after it was released but for some reason I haven’t picked up Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard. I’m excited to get back into this world and hopefully it won’t have the second book slump.

444 pages – potentially +44CP

The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare… Oh how long I have been meaning to finish this. I started it I think a year ago and for some reason just got distracted and never finished it. Now is the time.

507 pages – potentially +50CP

I don’t know much about The Problem With Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout but I’m assuming there is a romance just because of the title and the little bit of description I’ve read. Also, its J.L. Armentrout, it will be fantastic.

474 pages – potentially +47CP

Truthwitch by Susan Dennard is one of those books I picked up as soon as it was released and just never got around to reading. I have heard soooo many great things though so I’m excited!

415 pages – potentially +41CP

I love Ellen Hopkins books and I’m excited to finally get the chance to read Impulse because I love the style her books are written in and I can’t wait to start another.

Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken has been on my TBR for literal years now after I read The Darkest Minds. I won this book back when I first started my Bookstagram and it kills me that I haven’t finished this trilogy yet.

512 pages – potentially +51CP

There’s a competitive component to this Read-A-Thon that I love! basically, you get points for reading, reviewing, tweeting, etc. and whoever has the most points at the end is The Pokemon League Champion!! Definitely make sure to go look at Aentee’s post to understand the point system. I’m super excited for this to get started and I think I will create a post when it starts as a place to keep track of my points. Can’t wait to read these books!!

Are you joining? What Pokemon did you choose?

  1. Just thinking about you reading Clockwork princess for the first time brings on all the feelings again! It’s a fantastic book but there are plenty of opportunities for tears, and the Magnus Bane chronicles are great little reads 🙂 I felt like Glass Sword didn’t live up to Red Queen and had the second book slump for me but a lot of people enjoyed so I hope you do to. Great TBR!
